For Families interested in an adult or adolescent:

While wait times for puppies are based on wait time, adults and adolescents are placed with families based on compatibility. We may choose to place with a family who has been waiting a long time, or with a family just recently added to the list.

Our retired moms and dads are very near and dear to our hearts. We want to find them Forever Families with lifestyles that complement each Shih Tzu's personality. We often have many wonderful, loving families apply, however, we may only have 1 -2 adults/adolescents available each year.

Have you ever had a Shih Tzu before? *

Being on the waiting list is not a guarantee of sale. Sweetwater reserves the right to remove a family from the waiting list at any time and without obligation. Similarly, families can choose to be removed from the waiting list at any time and without obligation. Selection begins at 2 weeks of age. Once a puppy is chosen, a purchase agreement and a $1,000 non refundable deposit will secure your puppy. We do not take advance deposits. Males start at $3,500 & females start at $3,750 (plus MN sales tax of 7.375%). Select puppies are an additional fee. Pricing is subject to change and current pricing will apply at the time of selection. *
